Formed in Los Angeles in 2017, Rosie The Rage grabs at nostalgia from 1980's, 90's and 2k pop rock
with stabbing synths, driving guitars, and a littering of contemporary dance hooks meant to be maxed out on volume 100.
Showcasing double-edged singer Freddy Hale with a sleek yet coarse utterance in your audible focus,
Collin Keller's versatile and dynamic lead guitars, Alex Pitta's aggressive bass lines and Cadu Costa's hard hitting drums,
the band smashes you over the head with high energy grooves and well-dressed lyrics transforming contemporary
pop from its polished, perfected, paradisiac state to a gritty, flaw welcoming, human-in-the-21st-century experience.
The band released their debut double EP 'I Want the Key to Your Heart, But Mainly the Password to Your Wifi' in 2018
featuring eleven tracks. The sound was heavily electronic, sprinkled with guitar riffs and acoustic drum hits sporadically throughout. Much of it was recorded in Los Angeles, with smaller parts recorded at Tommy Lee's studio in Calabasas.
In August 2019, the band ventured into the studio to record what would become their first full length studio album, 'Imperfections', again partially tracked at Tommy Lee's Calabasas home studio, but the bulk of the recording was executed at Jeff Friedl's Secret Hand Studio in Sherman Oaks. Production took a total of four months, was completely oriented around live instruments and was completed in December.
As a global pandemic shook the world in March 2020 which forced the band into hiatus, plans to release the album and go on tour were temporarily put on hold. "Imperfections" is scheduled to release early 2021.
